Industrialisation Engineer
Purpose of the Job:
Manufacturing Engineer focused on developing and
industrialising cell and stack manufacturing equipment and process. Working
closely with Manufacturing Partners to develop and implement new solutions and technologies
leading to high volume manufacture.
Key Accountabilities:
- Research and
identify new processes or technologies that will reduce overall factory costs
- Support
Manufacturing Partners Industrialisation
- Develop factory
Layout plans, including material flow plans and Value Stream Mapping
- Specify and
Implement new equipment or processes
- Improve equipment
to run processes more efficiently
- Keep up to date on
technology and products
- Help develop
virtual factory and simulation capabilities
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
- BSc or HND in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Mechanical,
Electrical hands on skill set
- Experienced in
procuring special purpose production equipment
- Good communication
skills, both verbal and written
- Factory Cost
Modelling
- Lean Manufacturing
- Willing to travel
abroad
- Lean Manufacturing
Desired- Robotics and
Vision Systems experience
- Virtual Factory
and simulation experience

Modelling experience
